Thorburn Consultants' team has a broad base of experience, knowledge and understanding of water quality in both freshwater and marine systems. More importantly the team has an understanding of how the balancing of chemical and biological pathways is achieved through design solutions for aquaculture systems.

 

We are able to tailor recirculation systems to species, life stage and specific application, whether for broodstock, nursery, biomass production or display. This stems from many years experience in the marine finfish farming of Snapper and Yellowtail Kingfish, broodstock spawning, plankton production and rearing through to market, shellfish and public aquarium industries.

 

We are able to meet and discuss projects from the feasibility study through to trouble shooting and retrofit of existing systems, providing services such as design, drafting, consenting and project management.
