Whisper Cove is a prestigious residential project being undertaken at Snell's Beach, approximately 1 hour's drive North of Auckland.  The NZ$200 million luxury apartment and villa development comprises 160 mixed-style homes, all with sea views. Getting the Whisper Cove project under way has involved extensive liaison with Auckland Regional Council, Rodney District Council and existing Snells Beach residents.

 

Resource consents were granted with stringent conditions.  Thorburn Consultants have been dealing with all aspects of the Resource Consent Application, in our role as Civil Consultant for the entire project, and have undertaken all design work for the earthworks, roading and infrastructure.

 

Phase 1 of the development began in October 2005 with the bulk earthworks, and building construction of the first stage commenced in April 2006. The next phase of this prime sea-front development is currently under way.
